Walton Chorus Officer Application

Below are the various chorus officer positions and their responsibilities. If you are interested in applying, fill out the application below. Applications are due April 17, 2026.

Chorus President: Student assistant to the directors. Represents the chorus in school functions. Head of student officers. Supervises committees for special projects. Organizes set-up and take-down at concerts. Keeps up group morale and unity. Helps with publicity of chorus events.


Vice-President of Recruitment and Outreach: In charge of recruitment activities with Dodgen and Dickerson Middle Schools and outreach events on campus.  Assists the President and Directors as needed.


Vice-President of Tri-M and Fine Arts Diploma Seal: Liaison for Tri-M for chorus students and fine arts diploma seal.


Ensemble President: Assists directors as needed. Keeps up group morale and unity. Assists with day-to-day classroom tasks.


Chorus Librarian: Maintains organization of the music library, library database, and assists with distribution and collection of music. Coordinates with ensemble presidents to make sure each choir has what music they need.


Concert Managers: Directs logistics for all concerts. Coordinates with VP of Tri-M/FA Diploma Seal to secure volunteers for set-up and break-down of all concerts.

  9. What other clubs/organizations/part-time jobs are you involved? Are you an officer?  What is your time commitment to other activities other than chorus?

  10. Do you realistically have the time to be a full-time chorus officer given your course load, college application procedures and other commitments?
