Meet Your Officers
2007-2008
CAMERON
M.
PRESIDENT
"I am excited about Chorus this year because I love to sing! Every year in Chorus so far for me has been filled with fun and happy memories. From trips to New York, to daily rehearsals and concerts, everything so far has been a blast and I am sure that this year is to be the same!"

JACOB S.
PRESIDENT
"I enjoy chorus on so many levels! Leading people that share the same passion for music that I have makes me feel like I am really accomplishing something worthwhile. The trip to Paris and Normandy this past year was so fantastic that I can't wait for the trip to New York to see some unbelievable shows and learn so many new and exciting things! (Sorry, I can't contain my excitement!) The class, the concerts, the fundraisers, the trips, and so much more...I hope everyone loves chorus as much as I have and will continue to do in the coming year. Look for me if you need any help with anything related to chorus or not."
MELISSA
M.
VICE PRESIDENT
"As a senior and officer in chorus this year, I want
this to be one of our best years yet. With the
department being the largest it's ever been, we want
to make the Walton Chorus the most exciting and
enriching elective to be in. The reason we are in
chorus is because we love to sing! So no matter what
choir we are in, let's make some great music and
memories!"

PAVANI REDDY
VICE PRESIDENT
"Year number 6. It feels like such a short time since I began my singing career as part of the Dickerson Choir. I remember looking around feeling nervous as we sang together for the first time. It is strange that after living in the same house for 12 years and being part of the East Cobb school district for even longer that the only place I feel that I truly belong is in chorus. It is for this reason that I chose to be a student leader. It can be intimidating watching as the more experienced singers perform with amazing abilities. As a freshman, I remember thinking that I would never match their talent. I would like to instill in all of the chorus students that, within the comfort of the chorus room walls and out in the performing arts world, challenges to succeed will only just begin"
JESSICA
S.
SECRETARY
"Ever since I was a little tike, I have been singing and playing musical
instruments. I started playing piano at the age of five, and I playing
clarinet in middle school. Also, I have been in my church choir since
kindergarten and was a part of the "drama team." I joined chorus my
freshman year and have been an active member ever since. I love making
music and being part of a team; Chorus has allowed me to do both! As an
overall Chorus officer this year, I want to see my peers succeed. Being one
of the older members in Camerata, I want to help my fellow music makers
perform their best and be a friendly face for them. I am so excited to be a
senior and see what the year has in store!"
SARAH
S.
LIBRARIAN
"I am extremely excited about chorus this year! I love to sing and I want to share this love with the other students in chorus. I can't wait to get involved in the concerts, fundraisers, and the trip to Austria! I know that this year in chorus will be the best one yet, and I look forward to helping everyone along the way!"
